This year, the Villa Biaggini Ivancich participates in the annual contest by FAI - Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano- for this year’s “Luogo del cuore”, or Italy’s best-loved place. This is a national contest running till the end of November, which is both an effort to raise public awareness and to catalog Italy’s lesser-known monuments and treasures; it also is a contest whose winners are eligible for funding from FAI to help with maintenance and conservation.
Would you like to help the Villa Biaggini Ivancich gather votes in the Luoghi del Cuore competition? Voting is open to all who know and love Italy, it is free, and does not require FAI membership. Here is the online voting page for Villa Biaggini Ivancich:

Unfortunately, the online voting page is in Italian only, but the procedure is relatively simple and fast.
1. go to the online voting page for VILLA BIAGGINI IVANCICH. Here is the link: http://iluoghidelcuore.it/luoghi/san-michele-al-tagliamento/villa-biaggini-ivancich/83796
2) Click on “VOTA QUESTO LUOGO” (orange rectangle on the right). You will be directed to a login screen;
3) unless you already are a FAI member, you need to scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the bottom-left green oblong shape with the caption “REGISTRATI”, which means register. This is simply for voting purposes, and does not imply payments, nor membership or anything of this kind.
4) Another page opens, with a registration form. You need to fill in your name (“Nome”), surname (“cognome”) and so on, and give a valid email address. You are also asked for a password. You should invent a new password of your choosing, this is just to register to this FAI website for voting purposes.
You are also asked for a “CAP”. CAP is the Italian zip code system, and this online registration will only accept an Italian CAP, so either you are a resident of Italy or you should simply ignore this and leave it blank (it isn’t compulsory).
5) When you are done (it is really much easier and fast than it seems!), click on the orange “REGISTRATI” button, at the bottom of the page.
6) You’ll be sent a confirmation email to the email address you provided during registration (step 4). Open your mailbox, find this confirmation email, click on the provided confirmation link.
7) That’s it! Your vote is official!
