On Sunday, April 10, the JFK Library will host the PEN/Hemingway Awards and open the first-ever major exhibition at the JFK Library showcasing materials from our renowned Ernest Hemingway Collection.
Ernest Hemingway: Between Two Wars will feature original manuscripts, photographs, and first edition books from Hemingway's private library. The exhibit will also include multiple drafts of Hemingway's earliest short stories and typescripts of his major novels, as well as correspondence and personal items such as Hemingway’s tourist map of Paris, the trunk used to carry home souvenirs from an African safari, and the leather briefcase used in his travels.
