The Michigan Hemingway Society seeks applications for the Bill and Donna Cóte Scholarship for the current calendar year. Open to high school students, undergraduate students, and graduate students with an interest in the Michigan influence on the life and works of Ernest Hemingway.
The scholarship provides free registration, hotel room and most meals at the annual October conference of the Michigan Hemingway Society. To apply, the student should submit a cover letter containing name, address, academic affiliation; a short essay explaining why he or she would like to attend the conference; and a letter of recommendation from his or her instructor of literature. These may all be submitted electronically prior to September 1 to info@michiganhemingwaysociety.org
