Join Verna Kale and Kirk Curnutt for a practical introduction to writing successful grant and award applications, with a particular focus on the Hemingway Foundation’s Founders Fellowship and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s Ernest Hemingway Research Grant. This hour-long webinar will offer grad students, emerging scholars, independent scholars, and anyone else interested in sharpening their grant writing skills strategies for developing the components of an application, with a special focus on writing abstracts, preparing budgets, and avoiding common pitfalls. Attendees will be invited to ask questions throughout the session via chat, so gather together your application materials and join us to learn more about how to get funding for your work in progress.
